Terms, privacy & refunds
The plain-language rules that apply when you register with Sierra Driving School.
Refund policy
Sierra Driving School will only offer refunds if the student has not begun classroom hours. Once classroom hours have begun, tuition is non-refundable. Please contact the office at (403) 400-4274 if you have special circumstances or questions about this policy.
Lesson cancellations & rescheduling
Students may reschedule or cancel a booked lesson from the student portal up to 24 hours before its start time. Late cancellations and no-shows count against your package hours. FLAG-REVIEW: confirm the 24-hour window matches office practice.
Terms of service
- Registration creates a student account; you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account.
- Driver-ed packages include the stated classroom and in-car hours. Students have one year from registration to complete the course.
- The online classroom link is emailed within 24 hours of registration for online-format enrolments.
- Insurance-reduction certification requires completion of 15 classroom hours and a minimum of 10 hours of in-vehicle instruction with a certified instructor.
- Road-test vehicle rentals must be booked before the road-test date and are subject to vehicle availability.
- Payment plans (2–3 instalments) are arranged by phone with the office.
- Students must follow instructor directions and traffic law during all lessons; unsafe behaviour may end a lesson without refund of that lesson's time.
